I was just checking what my advertisement earnings were this month and as usual I find that most of them come from adverts for Plastic Surgery. There is a surgeon in the US with my name so I assume that's how people get to my site and why lawrencegray.com was stolen away from me and held to ransom. That domain name is now a rather peculiarly unresponsive car insurance site. Car accidents and plastic surgery probably go together, hence the link.
One thing I notice that my readers do not do is buy books. There are zero click throughs to Amazon. Considering that I've been head of the Hong Kong Writers' Circle for twenty years and organising literary soirees for readers and writers all that time, it is strange to think that not one single person hits on the amazon links. Though given Hong Kong's peculiar take on literature maybe that isn't so surprising.
In the meantime though, I tell people about film making. Come to think about it, maybe that is another reason why the majority of my advertising revenue comes from Plastic Surgery. People interested in film making are supremely vain and seek any advantage they can get.
So, although I should warn people that going under the surgeon's knife never leaves you feeling quite right afterwards, I say go for it! Perky breasts with, as they say in Cantonese, good career lines, are worth all the suffering. I have no idea why the programming works so well, but for guys breasts never grow old.
